Star Wars Galaxy Set To Collide With Angry Birds

It seems that Star Wars just continues to expand its domain. We have seen this iconic movie series connected with things we would have never imagined, and yet it still makes perfect sense in some unearthly way. There’s no doubt this franchise is more popular than ever now with hundreds of products bearing its name, and now we’re about to see another one. It so happens that one of the most successful apps of all time has joined the Star Wars galaxy, and they are ready to take on the world. I am talking about Angry Birds and how it continuously dwindles our time down the drain with its addicting gameplay. Soon we’ll be able to take on the dark forces with the use of a slingshot.

I think it was always only a matter of time before we got introduced to this mashup. The Angry Birds franchise has earned an iconic status just like Star Wars, and the two of them actually make a pretty interesting mashup, especially considering Rovio released Angry Birds Space not too long ago. In a mysterious trailer for the new Angry Birds game, we see a few characters from the Star Wars galaxy that we’ll be able to play with.

As far as I know, there isn’t any gameplay showcased, but the Star Wars galaxy and the galaxy of Angry Birds should marry quite well when you think about it. There are so many strong characters and personalities in the Star Wars galaxy that matching the right one with the right gameplay impact shouldn’t be too hard. The Star Wars galaxy mashed up with Angry Birds gameplay is set for release on the 8th of November. What side are you going to choose? Will we even be able to pick a side at all? The force is strong with this one. Now we’ll just have to see what comes out of it. Will it still be as addicting?
