I don’t know what started it, but I am one of those “odd” people that continuously thinks about how the world could be a better place. I honestly and deeply want to help make it better, but sometimes the means and the time are not enough to make even the smallest changes. I’ll be honest and tell you that I sometimes don’t even follow up on my own urges to make the world a better place to visit while we’re here.
My admiration for people like Alyssa Milano (@Alyssa_Milano) that keep fighting the dark forces that mean to destroy this wonderful planet of ours is tremendous and without end. Their engagement is unlimited, and it’s so inspiring to keep watching them do all they can to make our existence a little better day by day.
There are several things us “little people” can do to make our surroundings a little bit more beautiful to be around. Steve Wheen, a hard core gardener, has come up with a way to put things in perspective. He utilizes the natural pottery that we sometimes don’t think about since it looks like just a hole in the ground. He uses these unused and sometimes ugly voids to plant his flowers and greens in order to bring more color to a colorless world. It’s one of the finest and most inspiring endeavors I have seen in quite some time. If we could all embrace this sort of beautification, then I strongly believe that the world would truly be a more colorful and lovelier place to live in. It’s a form of guerilla gardening to say the least!
