“Kitten” 1968 computer animation

Here is a cool computer animation generated in 1968 on Russian computer BESM-4.

Almost 40 years ago, 1968… Group under the management ^[Nikolaya] of Nikolayevich Constantinov creates the mathematical model of the motion of animal (cat). Machine BESM-4, running the written program of the solution of ordinary (in the mathematical sense of word) differential equations, sketches the cartoon “kitty”, which contains even on the contemporary measures the surprising animation of the motions of cat, created with computer.
