The cell phone is one of the most valuable tools to stay connected. I know some people who can’t leave their house with out their mobile phones. And since it is used all the time, there could be occasions where we either drop it or lose it.
I remember one time when I was at a video shoot, and we were shooting a scene on a boat and suddenly one of the production crew yelled. Poor girl, her cell phone slipped out of her pocket and down it went into the murky water. We were able to retrieve the phone right away but it was already wet. The poor girl had to buy a new one.
But did you know that you can still save your wet cell phone? According to this demo I found, the first thing you need to do is take it apart then get a bag of uncooked rice. Yes you read it right. A bag of rice is all you need.
Place the rice in a container and then put the parts inside the container. After 3 to 4 days open the container and put your cellphone back together again and viola! Simple right?! Watch the video and see for yourself how it is done.
