One thing this video taught me is that you don’t have to have a lot of money to be a photographer. Sure, photography lenses and accessories can be expensive. But with a little creativity and ingenuity, sometimes you can create the same effect without the fancy equipment.

I’ve also learned over the past few years that proper lighting is half the battle when it comes to good-looking photographs. Since I have horrible lighting in my house, I have gotten into the habit of taking many of my photos outside in the sunshine. It changes everything when it comes to the quality of the photos.
