Have you ever found yourself in a crowded club ordering a beer and as soon as you get it, you are bumped and you spill half of it all over yourself or someone else? It’s one of the most annoying things that can happen when you’re out having fun. Not to mention, unless you’ve consumed half of the beer, it is almost impossible to dance while holding it. I am sure that the club owners are as annoyed by this very common fact as their customers are. After all, they are the ones who have to clean up the mess. I don’t think I have ever seen someone try to solve this issue either. I don’t even know if something could solve it, until now.
The brewery Hahn has taken it upon themselves to solve this problem, and they do it in the geekiest of ways. You would think they would go with a glass with a spout on it, but that seems to be a little bit too awkward. So, they had to take a completely different approach. We may call it a technological approach since that is exactly what it is. It’s actually an electronic arm that works very much like a camera stabilizer boom arm.
No matter how much you move around or what dance steps you want to take, the beer will stay perfectly still, seemingly even if the world falls apart. Even though I love this solution, I have to say that the geekiness in it will probably make it obsolete to our current behavior when we’re in the club. It’s just too much “guff” to bring with you, and besides, you would get entangled in everyone unless you stay at a 4 foot distance away. So, behold the world’s smartest beer anti-spilling device that will never see the day of light (or should I say the spotlight in a club). It is of course all fun and games, but also a truly remarkable piece of technology to say the least.
