It has been said so many times before and we just can’t escape the truth, Facebook really is the most popular social networking service ever. I don’t know what kind of party Mark Zuckerberg will throw once they hit 1 billion users (just listen to that number, it’s INSANE!), but judging from the party they threw when they hit 1 million users, it will be a party in epic proportions. However, getting there has been everything but smooth, and there have been many missteps and failures along the way. Most of them are probably not even known to the majority of the users who are using Facebook each and every day.
Of course, there are some people out there who keep track of all this, and by doing some further research, they have managed to compile it all into an infographic called Facebook Wall Of Shame. It presents pretty much every single failure or misstep Facebook has ever made, whether it is with a new user interface, the widely discussed privacy policy or newly rolled out features that were supposed to make the Facebook experience a lot better.
So if you want to learn from the mistakes that obviously even the giant social networking services make, I highly suggest you have a look at this infographic. It’s created by the people over at WordStream, and it will surely present you with a few interesting facts. Of course, not everyone looks at the mistakes and failures as such, since opinions are always different from person to person. Whatever your opinion about it is, it’s entirely up to you. We just share the facts and hope that you will have a use for them. While we are at the subject, what was the last failure that you personally think Facebook made?
